Thoughts from AlcineXtreme: Fitness Deposits

Throughout my classes, I sometimes talk about things that I feel would be great to share with the public. Unfortunately, I never write it down and I typically forget about it. Not today though!!!

While teaching my spin class this morning, I was speaking on "Fitness Deposits" while we were in the middle of our climb. (I always talk through my classes to give them something else to focus on than the burn)  So, I was telling them every time they do something active (i.e. attend a workout class, train, walk, etc.) and eat something healthy, they're making deposits to themselves. Think of your body as an interest bearing account. Some people's interest rates are better than others and that is why they see results faster. Some of us have had such bad credit with our body that it takes us making bigger deposits to see any results.

However, just like with credit, you can fix your health. It does take time, patience and discipline. Remember, consistency is key, if you have bad habits consistently, then you will reap bad results just as if you have good habits consistently you will reap good results!

Personal Diet Modification Plan So since I have had my son, I noticed what I used to to lose weight isn't working for me. I recently did a nutritional analysis on myself and I saw that I'm deficient in iron, I'm not drinking nearly enough water and I was ingesting way too many carbohydrates.
