2016 Bodybuilding Competition!!!!

So, last August, I competed in my very first INFB Bodybuilding competition where I took 2nd place. It was an awesome experience and I learned a lot. However, after the competition, instead of maintaining my weight and getting prepared for another competition, I went back to very old habits and a year later, I gained 20lbs!!! (I know WTH) Then, I lost some of it, then gained it back, then lost it again, had surgery where they removed 5 tumors from my stomach and now I'm back at it!!  One thing I've learned from my past is the first step to getting back on track and knowing what you did wrong. Here's what I've done wrong this past year: Eating poorly Not doing a lot of fat burn cardio Not getting enough sleep Increased stress Snacking on chocolate at night (Eating poorly) Did I mention eating POORLY!!!!! AlcineXtreme's Top 10 Reasons Why You Aren't Seeing Results!

Happy Tuesday Xtremers!! I have a lot of clients that come to me asking me why they aren't seeing results. They tell me, I've been working out, eating good and I have lost a pound! Well I wanted to share with you my list of common reasons why you may not be seeing results. 1. Poor Preparation . Have you made a plan on how you are going to achieve your goals or are you just going  in and winging it each day? A goal without a plan is just a wish. Remember that.  2. Not drinking enough water . My golden rule for my clients is to get a least half your body weight in ounces of water a day minimum. (Example: You weigh 150lbs, you should get 75oz. which is a little over 9 cups of water a day --8oz = 1 cup) 3. Consuming too many liquid calories . For example, I love juice, more than soda. Why I switched from Team Beachbody to Herbalife

Hey everyone, if you're on my facebook (www.facebook.com/AlcineXtreme) or on my Instagram (instagram/AlcineXtremeFitness) you may have noticed that I have recently become an Herbalife Distributor. I know many of you have known me as Team Beachbody Coach for years and are probably wondering why I switched. First, I want to say that I loved the Team Beachbody products and will still recommend them. Shakeology has  helped me to lose weight as well as their programs have helped me to stay active. Introduction to AlcineXtreme's Fit Tips

Welcome to my newest blog, AlcineXtreme's Fit Tips ! I would first like to introduce myself, my name is Alcine and I am a Certified Fitness Trainer, Group Exercise Instructor and Team Beachbody Coach. I have been in the fitness industry for almost two years now but have started my own journey to getting my dream body since 2009. I reached my highest weight then,  a little over 300lbs. I can happily say I'm little more than 100lbs less but with about 15 more pounds to go. In addition to teaching over 10 classes a week, I am currently training for my very first Women's Natural Bodybuilding Competition in August 2014. I'm very excited and nervous for this. If I win overall, I can obtain a pro card! (The goal) I train 4x a week with a veteran champion bodybuilder who really knows how to make me push my limits.
